We need the blogosphere kitties help right now. Grammas kitty Patches is very sick and needs some puurrrssss and prayers right now. His V-E-T did some tests and still don't know why he is sick. He stopped eating and drinking and lost lotsa weight. Gramma is force feeding him and he seems to be improving, but is still not doing too good. He's anemic and was jaundiced when he went to the kitty hospital. Gramma is very worried and so are we. Hopefully the V-E-T will be able to figure out what's wrong with him soon, but until then we could use the healing power of all our blogosphere friends. We appreciate any puurrrssss and prayers you could send his way. We will update you when we hear anything.

We are so sorry Patches is sick. We are purring for him and your gramma and we hope the vet can figure out what is wrong with him....

Update from 'Gramma'
Although still weak, Patches got up today actually looking for food. He ate just a little, and is now as I write this, eating again a bit more.
He also got up a few times and came over to me for loving..which of course he got all he could handle before going back to bed for another kitty nap.
He is not out of the woods...but thanks to your prayers...seems to be improving.
He would give me biteys right now if I took his pic in his condition, but do know that if he pulls through...he and his brothers and sisters will thank you personally..as soon as Gramma can figure this blog thing all out... ;)

Quick update from Gramma:
As of the past 2 days, Patches has been waking me me up actually looking for food. There has been no force feeding necesssary, as not only is he eating his yucky prescription food...but a bit of his regular food and 'crunchy snacks' as well. He has also made his way to the water himself without turning up his nose.
He is being a good boy while pilling, only some minor annoyed 'stop it's.
The prayers are getting through and seem to be working...but keep them coming...as although there is improvement...he is still weak and needs much more meat on his bones before being considered out of the woods...

Update from Gramma:
Patchie is still hanging in there, and is eating and drinking on his own. I weighed him last night and he has picked a whole pound back up, so that is a good sign.
On the other hand, I almost felt guilty when I weight brother Salem and he weighed in at 17, until I remembered Nelle's post that Chance weights 26...LOL
